His inventions in drug discovery and development\, particularly in the field of neuropharmacology\, have led to significant advancements in treating epilepsy and neuropsychiatric conditions. \nDr. Rogawski’s election as an NAI fellow recognizes his prolific spirit of innovation and contributions to improving the quality of life through groundbreaking inventions. Notable achievements include the development of epilepsy drug perampanel (Fycompa®) and brexanolone (Zulresso™)\, the first FDA-approved drug for postpartum depression.
