To study gain of function mutations in GABAA receptors (GABR). This will include 10 representative mutations in GABR subunit genes.
The goal of this project is to:
    • define if the functional receptor is reduced or increased in the mutant subunit containing
      GABAA receptors;
    • to determine if 4 phenylbutyrate can be beneficial for those gain of function GABAA receptors.
